<li>$52 will purchase ten nutritious bundled meals to be delivered to a homebound senior citizen recently discharged from the hospital.</li>
<li>$52 could be used to purchase a gas card to help victims and children fleeing from domestic violence to get to a safe place or meet an advocate.</li>
<li>$260 could be used to purchase twenty “Courage to Heal” workbooks for survivors of child sexual abuse.</li>
<li>$260 could cover the cost of running the food shelf rescue bus for six weeks including: gas, insurance, oil changes, wear & tear, and other mechanical.</li>
<li>$520 could cover the cost of “Welcome Home” baskets for ten families leaving shelter and moving into a permanent housing.</li>
<li>$520 could cover the cost of six weeks of tasty shipped to a senior citizen who lives in an extremely isolated area.</li>
<li>$1040 could provide 250 children with a weekend backpack filled with snacks to supplement their nutrition needs.</li>
<li>$1040 could pay for one month’s worth of rent for the safe house so a victim and his/her children are able to stay for up to 29 days at a secure house as they work toward moving forward.</li>

<li>$3 per week provides free books to families who might not have the opportunity to access books in their home, encouraging early literacy skills.</li>
<li>$5 per week will purchase enough food to prepare 120 meals for low income seniors at a local dining site.</li>
<li>$10 per week provides two students with weekend meals through our Packing for the Weekend program.</li>
<li>$20 per week provides 120 hours of respite care for a homebound seniors and caregivers.</li>

Our focus areas and internal programs include: Education, Health, Basic Needs/Financial Stability, Packing for the Weekend Program (for students experiencing food insecurity), and Blue Bookshelf Program (early childhood literacy).</p>

<li>$10 per pay period pays stipends for individuals with developmental disabilities to deliver bullying prevention trainings to fourth graders.</li>
<li>$15 per pay period buys all the children in a classroom a book on a topic such as how to resolve conflicts, respond to teasing, make friends and manage anger.</li>
<li>$20 per period pays for one week of a caring adult to be at a school mentoring kids on talking through conflicts, building support networks, and how to address bullying.</li>

<li>$10 per pay period helps equip homeless youth with critical winter survival gear — warmth and protection for those living outside with nowhere else to turn.</li>

<p xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">While unrestricted contributions directly to OYH are preferred because they provide flexible support for statewide hunger and homelessness initiatives, OYH accepts donor designated contributions to our affiliated member organizations and distributes them directly to the intended partners.</p>

<h2 xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Administration Fee</h2>
<p xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">OYH assesses a 5% administrative fee on all designated donations processed on behalf of partner organizations. This fee supports donation processing, donor intent tracking, reporting, compliance, and disbursement services. OYH distributes designated donations quarterly, with payments issued on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. Organizations receiving designated gifts will receive a detailed report with each disbursement.</p>

For donor-designated gifts, a standard cost recovery processing fee of approximately 5% is applied (up to a maximum of $250 per gift) to support the administration, processing and distribution of these funds. Overall, 77% to 82% of total funds raised is invested directly in programs and services that strengthen our community, with administrative and fundraising expenses representing approximately 18% to 23% of total funds raised.</p>

By serving more than 65,000 annually in Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet and Waseca counties, we work to build a better tomorrow for all in our region.</p>

<ul xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<li>$1 per week provides two nights of crisis nursery services or a recreational event for 25 individuals with disabilities.</li>
<li>$5 per week provides 12 hours of support services for shelter residents or half a year of literacy/math tutoring for a student.</li>
<li>$10 per week provides 126 hot meals for individuals of all ages or health and wellness class for eight seniors.</li>
